After the 26 June event, the SKT identity had found its rhythm. What began as a hopeful initiative built on a whim and a prayer became something driven by consistency, community and an unwavering commitment to the children and families we serve.

The June event didn’t just continue the SKT journey… it cemented it. It proved that these experiences - however ordinary they may seem to us - can become game-changing moments for a child fighting unimaginable battles simply by restoring motivation, building their resilience and overlooking their diagnosis to remind them there is a wonderful life to fight for.

The NPO's on the invite list were CHOC, Reach for a Dream, Kidney Kidz and the Wits Donald Gordon Peadiatric Oncology ward.
