Both. While we collaborate with hospitals and organisations supporting sick children, individuals can absolutely refer a child directly. We welcome referrals from anyone who knows a child in need of this experience.

What areas do you serve?

We are based in Gauteng and host many of our events in Johannesburg and surrounding areas, but we work with partner organisations across South Africa to reach as many children as possible.

To ensure each experience is safe, meaningful, and appropriate, children should meet the following criteria at the time of referral:

The child is diagnosed with a serious, chronic, or life-limiting illness
(including progressive, degenerative, or life-threatening conditions)
The child is typically between the ages of 6 and 18
The child is medically stable enough to safely participate in a supervised experience
The referral is submitted by a parent, guardian, medical professional, or verified organisation involved in the child’s care
