CREATE IMPACT

Real Impact. Real Smiles. Real Moments That Matter.

Because no child should be defined by their illness.

Together…
We create moments that matter.
We restore joy where it’s been lost.
We remind children what it feels like to be alive.

The Theory Behind The Smiles

Children facing severe illness often live under constant emotional stress, fear, pain and exhaustion. What many people don’t realize is that immersive sensory experiences can trigger a powerful neurological response within the brain.

Research has shown that the brain’s reward system becomes highly active during exciting, high-adrenaline experiences. Supercars - particularly their acceleration, noise and movements - stimulate dopamine-rich areas of the brain linked to motivation, pleasure, emotional connection and reward.

Studies have also shown that the ventral striatum - a key part of the brain’s reward system associated with behavioural motivation - responds strongly simply to the sight of a supercar. Beyond speed and excitement, supercars have become cultural symbols associated with aspiration, achievement and possibility; which all contribute to the brain’s emotional response.

The critical star of the brain in this is the putamen; a structure deep within the brain associated with movement, motivation, achievement and positive emotional response. Now take the visual image of that supercar and turn it up a few notches.

The moment a child experiences the intense acceleration of a supercar, the brain’s reward system activates rapidly. Dopamine and adrenaline surge through the body. Heart rate increases. Blood flow is stimulated. And for a few euphoric moments, the brain begins overriding fear, stress, pain and negative emotional states. That’s when we see it happen:
The genuine smiling.
The unstoppable laughter.
The sparkle returning to their eyes.
The glowing, rosy colour in their cheeks.

For a few magical moments, our co-pilots stop feeling like patients… and start remembering what feeling alive is all about.

RESTORES JOY

RESTORES JOY

A moment of joy can change everything.

When a child is facing a life-limiting illness, their world becomes smaller — filled with hospital rooms, treatment plans, and uncertainty.

Childhood pauses.

At SuperKids Trust, our supercar experiences break through that reality. For a moment, the fear fades, the noise quiets, and something powerful takes over — excitement, adrenaline, laughter.

  • It’s more than a ride.
It’s a return to being a child again.

  • After a SuperKids experience:
Children don’t feel like patients… they feel alive.

STRENGTHENS FAMILIES

STRENGTHENS FAMILIES

When one child is hurting, the whole family carries it.

Serious illness doesn’t just affect the child — it reshapes the entire family’s world. Parents carry emotional weight. Siblings often stand quietly in the background. Everyone adapts.

Our experiences are designed to include and uplift the entire family unit.

  • For a few hours, the pressure lifts.
    Families reconnect.
    Laughter replaces exhaustion.

  • After a SuperKids experience:
Families leave stronger, closer, and more hopeful for what lies ahead.

BUILDS MEANINGFUL IMPACT

BUILDS MEANINGFUL IMPACT

Impact isn’t measured in numbers — it’s felt in moments.

Through supercar events across Johannesburg and Gauteng, and in collaboration with trusted partners and medical teams, SuperKids Trust creates experiences that go beyond traditional charity support.

We don’t just provide assistance — we create memories that last a lifetime.

  • Every event:
    – Lifts a child out of survival mode
    – Brings families back together
    – Unites communities around something deeply human

  • Because in the hardest moments…
    feeling alive is everything.
